Metro has launched a 24/7 bus service across the District to get the nation's capital moving! As of December 17, 2023, WMATA now offers service on 14 routes around the clock serving all eight DC wards for $2.25 each ride.

The exception to Metro's "no drinking" policy applies to water only — in stations and aboard trains, buses and MetroAccess vehicles. Customers are encouraged to use containers that can be tightly secured and to use trash receptacles to dispose of any waste.
